PDF accessibility audits for public agencies

Find out which of your PDFs would fail an accessibility complaint — the deadline moved, the risk didn't.

Reologix scans every agenda, budget, and public notice your agency has ever published and checks it against the same structural rules a screen reader relies on. The audit is free. You only pay if there's something worth fixing.

No software to install. Send a folder or a link list — results back the same day.
Illustrative example. For a real, downloadable audit report, see below.
Since 1990
Title II's duty not to discriminate has applied for over three decades. The new rule just gave it a technical yardstick.
2027 / 2028
DOJ's April 2026 interim rule pushed the WCAG compliance clock to April 2027 (50k+ jurisdictions) and April 2028 (special districts & smaller entities).
$5–$25
Per page, the going market rate for manual PDF remediation today.
Published vendor pricing, 2026
The compliance date isn't the risk date. April 2028 is when DOJ can point at a specific WCAG failure on your site. It's not when the underlying obligation starts — that's already the law. A complaint about an inaccessible PDF can land on your desk tomorrow, deadline or not.
How it works

Three steps, no meetings required

You don't need to know what a tag tree is. You need to know which documents are a liability and which pages to fix first.

01

Send us the documents

A shared folder, a calendar page full of agenda links, or a whole document library. We pull everything down, one request at a time, respecting the site along the way.

02

We run the structural audit — free

Every file is opened at the object level — tag tree, headings, alt text, table headers, link descriptions, language, scanned-text detection — the same signals assistive technology reads. No charge, no catch.

03

You get a report, and a quote only if you need one

A spreadsheet for your IT team, a two-page summary for the board, and — only for what's actually broken — a per-page remediation quote.

The report is the product

Download a real sample report

This isn't a mockup. It's the actual summary Reologix generated after scanning six real, publicly posted government PDFs — five meeting agendas and a budget document. Nothing about it is staged.

The file below is exactly what a client receives: total files scanned, how many are completely untagged, the most common failures, and an estimated page count needing remediation — written for whoever has to explain this to a board, not an engineer.

Every audit also includes a results.csv with one row per file and one column per check, for whoever handles the fix.

What we actually check

Every finding traces back to a real structural check

No guesswork, no black-box AI score. Each line in your report maps to a specific, inspectable property of the PDF itself.

TAG TREE
Whether the document has any accessibility structure at all — untagged files fail every downstream check.
LANGUAGE
Whether a document language is set and valid, so screen readers use the right pronunciation rules.
TITLE
Whether the file has a real title, and whether the viewer is set to display it instead of the filename.
IMAGES
How many images exist versus how many have a real, non-empty description attached.
TABLES
Whether data tables have header cells a screen reader can announce, or just look like a grid of text.
LINKS
How many links give no destination information beyond "click here."
SCANNED TEXT
Whether the page is real text or a scanned image with nothing for a screen reader to read at all.
HEADINGS
Whether heading levels exist and follow a sane order, so the document has a navigable outline.
Pricing

The audit is free. You pay to fix, not to find out.
